Dr. Jeffrey Papworth graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University. Upon graduation he was accepted to the renowned Ostrow School of Dentistry at The University of Southern California. There he excelled both from an academic and leadership standpoint. Not only was he a regular Dean’s List recipient, but he was also selected by the Ostrow School of Dentistry faculty to aid in teaching composite dentistry techniques to underclassman. While at USC he also served as the Chapter President of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association, as a Representative for the AYUDA International Outreach Organization, and as a selected member of the John Wesley Community Health Clinic team.
Dr. Papworth practices and adheres to the principles of biomimetic dentistry. He is always staying on top of the latest techniques in restorative and digital dentistry through Continuing Education and through mentorship programs. He is passionate about improving the patient experience and giving his patients the best care possible.
Dr. Papworth is married to Megan, his wife of 10 years, and has 3 children; Grey, Rowan and Neve. He enjoys being outdoors playing sports, camping, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Brown is a native of Southern California, growing up in the Inland Empire high desert area. After high school, he spent four years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in San Diego. Once his military duty concluded, he went on to complete his formal education at Loma Linda University. Graduating first with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, he then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1994, where he finished in the top 10% of his class. Caring for his patients and providing them with the best dental treatment is his highest priority. He is continually updating his knowledge through additional courses, study groups and conferences. Dr. Brown also wants to share information with his peers which is what lead him to become an instructor for the Global Dental Implant Academy. His passion and insistence on staying current is clearly represented in the modern, state-of-the-art materials, equipment and techniques that he uses at his StarWhite Dental practice. These new technologies allow him to detect dental problems at early stages and provide dental care with pin-point precision. StarWhite Dental is a multi-specialty office that handles preventative, restorative, orthodontic, implant and cosmetic procedures in house so that Dr. Brown can ensure his patients receive high quality care from start to finish. Dr. Brown’s advice to potential new patients is “Find a dentist you can trust. They should be willing to take the time to listen to you, and in return, give you a detailed explanation of any problem areas found and recommended treatment options.”
Dr. Henriod is a periodontist—a specialist who takes care of gum disease and dental implants.
Dr. Henriod received his DDS degree from the renowned UCLA School of Dentistry and was the Chief Resident during his Periodontic Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Because periodontics is an ever changing field continual learning is a cornerstone of his dental practice.
He’s a Diplomate of the prestigious American Board of Periodontology. He was certified by them after passing a comprehensive and rigorous examination process covering all phases of gum disease and its treatment, including dental implants.
In addition to being board-certified in periodontics Dr. Henriod is certified in LANAP (laser periodontal surgery), a minimally invasive alternative to regular periodontal surgery (gum disease surgery) and he is certified in oral and IV sedation, as well.
He not only stays on top of the latest gum grafting techniques through continuing education, but he’s also an innovator in minimally invasive gum grafting. Respected by his peers as one of the top periodontists in the area, he teaches periodontists and other dentists about implant surgery, bone grafting techniques and minimally invasive gum grafting. From 2008 to 2012 he made presentations and gave over 80 lectures to dental clinicians around the country.
Dr. Henriod, who was voted Top Dentist two years in a row by readers of Pasadena Magazine, loves making mouths healthier through periodontal treatment and helping fearful patients realize that modern surgical dentistry is more comfortable and less invasive than ever. He is passionate about giving his patients the best care every time he sees them.
His hope is that each patient feels how much he cares about them and that he tries his very best to give them a smile that they can be proud of.
Dr. Samuel Young is a graduate of Bakersfield High School, Occidental College and Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery certificate of training from the Naval Hospital Oakland California in 1989. Dr. Young has completed 33 years of distinguished service in the United States Navy Dental Corps. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesia. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Young and his wife Karla have 4 children. He enjoys teaching, traveling and playing Scrabble.
Dr. Cooke is a Southern California native with her roots in the San Gabriel Valley. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California in 1991. She has been treating patients in the Temecula Valley since 1992. She joined the StarWhite Dental Team in February of 2013. At this Murrieta practice, she focuses on preventative and restorative procedures while supervising the hygiene team. When not in the office caring for patients, you will find her volunteering her time to educate the community about oral health. In December 2013, she volunteered her services at the CDA Cares event. This two day event at the Del Mar Fair Grounds in San Diego, CA. provided over 10,655 procedures at no charge to patients in need. Dr. Cooke performed over sixty complimentary oral health assessments to the students at Susan LaVorgna Elementary School in February 2014 for National Children’s Dental Health month. Dr. Cooke has passion for her profession. It shows in her dedication for staying current on dental procedures, regulations and technology which is why in her free time is often spent attending workshops, trainings and seminars or speaking at events such as the April 2014 Roadways to Success for the Murrieta Mesa High School students to inspire future dentists. Her compassion for her patients and dedication to give above and beyond care is what sets Dr. Katherine Cooke a part from others in her field.
